Maine Artist Bruce Robert Coffin

 

                

This painting depicts a scene so common and so perfectly representative of life in small town Maine that I had to put paint to canvas.  People always ask me what town it is after telling me that it looks so familiar to them.  They follow up by asking me if I know that I spelled Main Street incorrectly.  I tell them that it was titled that way because it could be any "Maine Street".
